Elyse Kopietz

Elyse’s background in business and project management provide a streamlined process and coordinated customer service. After graduating from Michigan State University and earning a Masters in Business from Northwood, Elyse’s early professional experience included the Greater Lansing Home Builders Association and Green Built Michigan which introduced her to the home building and remodeling industry. Elyse’s career history includes experience as a non-profit executive, marketing strategist and project manager. When she was a single mom Elyse saw a need to support female homeowners and those who don’t fit the stereotypical handyman. Years later, Elyse’s life-partner has become her business partner to create Bumble Home Improvements—a twist on the traditional handyman company.

Sean Cooney

With more than 30 years’ experience as a business owner, professional carpenter, and remodeler Sean delivers high-quality results. After serving in the military, Sean started a handyman and remodeling company with seven employees who served Oakland County. Sean then moved with his skills and family to Jackson Hole Wyoming where he built Grand Teton Building, a premier custom home building company. Eventually selling GTB, life brought Sean back to Michigan where he was a Store Manager of a large building supply warehouse. This experience added to Sean’s skills by giving him first-hand knowledge of suppliers, products and supporting the do-it-yourself homeowner. Fast forward, and today Sean is the co-owner of Bumble Home Improvements!
